Welcome to my first mid-month, paid-subscribers-only update! My goal is to reduce the length of the end of the month roundup and stay more on top of the latest cool arty news. The media recs (books, tv, games) will stay in the free month’s end post. A state-of-the-newsletter report fyi: I have at the moment 5100 subscribers, and only 28 paid subs. I’d like to give the paid subs some extra value and make it more feasible for me to keep up with the news.

This mid-month edition includes the latest AI releases (LLMs and Midjourney 5), some neRFy 3D news, good data wrangling tool releases, strange theories of language model behavior, a game design retreat’s reports. Plus some important poetry.
